The DraganFlyer / Roswell Flyer Pages

History
The critter shown here came out in the mid-90's. Compared to current versions, it required an external receiver and had a Gatorboard (a hard foamcore) frame that damaged easily.
It was sold by "Area Fifty-One Technology" (A.F.O.T.) in Nevada, and it was called "The Roswell Flyer" (for obvious reasons).

Now
AFOT wasn't able to make a go of it and the design, etc was taken over by Zenon Dragan who called it DraganFlyer (also for reasonably obvious reasons) (:-)
Two major improvements are that the receiver is now incorporated in the "brain" making the unit simpler / lighter / more reliable, and that DraganFlyer now comes with a carbon frame, which also makes things simpler / lighter / more reliable. (I like things that are simpler / lighter / more reliable.)(:-)

Then
I picked up one of the originals a few years ago but didn't like the stock frame at all so I never even assembled it. Instead I made my own carbon frame (as well as some changes to the wiring) but the running gear was unchanged, (as shown below or on the related pages).

If you have any version of the Flyer, an Engager, or anything similar, feel free to drop me to a note or pictures for inclusion here. All other questions and suggestions are also welcome.

My home-made 22-gram Flyer frame.
