PicoStick DihedralThe most significant problem of the LiteStick series is that the wings don't have enough dihedral which makes turning performance quite poor. The solution for this is quite easy on the LiteStick, but this is the first solution I've seen for the PicoStick that I actually like.
You'll need a few small bits of plywood or hard balsa, some thin music wire and some string. Tools / materials are a few drops of plain epoxy and a couple of pliers.

Each wingtip gets 2 of these fittings. The brown things are small pieces of plywood that get epoxied to the bottom of the wings. Don't skimp on the size of wood bits because they are what keeps the wire from pulling out from the foam. If you make them too small the whole assembly will tear out and make an ugly mess.Attached to each of the bits of wood is a music wire hook that sticks up above the wing with a small spiral fitting. The spiral needs about 3-4 loops spaced a little apart from each other so you can thread the string though the loops.

Mario added a short piece of aluminum tube as a kingpost (the thing that sticks up) socket and this glued and bound to the fuselage stick with thread and CA glue. The kingpost itself is made from a short piece of bamboo skewer. The way Mario designed this is that the wires are permanently attached to the k-post and get detached from the wingtips if you want to separate the wing panels.If you want, a simpler solution may be to attach a length of string to the 2 fittings on each panel and have them join in the middle with a small fitting or by passing one inside the other. This way you save a small amount of weight, it makes things a little simpler to build and to rig.
For the wires themselves Mario used thin metal wire lines from control-line airplanes but lots of other things such as dental floss or carpet thread will also work well.
