Thought that I would send some pictures of my Le' Pou Stik. The pitch control is by pivoting the front wing like the Flying Flea. It actually flies quite well! The rear wing is shortened by cutting off the center portion and adding a balsa rib. It is balanced at about 50% of the chord of the front wing. I fly it with an 8 cell 110mah nicad pack. Most of the time at about half throttle. If you want to build your own Pou' and have technical questions you can ask Bob at "rhiggin@rectec.net".
In case some of you are new to Henri Mignet's Flying Flea I've added some pictures of the full-size critters. It first flew in France in 1934 and was designed to be simple to build, simple to fly and affordable by everybody. It still has a bit of "iffy" reputation because it was different-looking and there were a few crashes early on. However that's all long in the past, and it's been a proven beloved flyer for many decades now. At the bottom of the page are a few links you can follow if you want to learn more about this neat and interesting plane.
