A friend of mine is flying a Pico stik (same as LightStick) on 7x350mAh NiCds but he also added ailerons.

The thing weighs about 9 ozs but flies for about 12 minutes.

It feels really heavy, but it handles a slight wind better than one in "stock" configuration, and the ailerons really help the turning.
