Ed Couch's "EddieBird"

Got kind of tired of looking at the same old thing this Saturday and I had an afternoon to spend so I got out the old pencil and scratch pad and came up with this little puppy. Its based of the GWS-A power system we use on the Stiks and the wing from another one of my designs called New Generation-2.

The covering is black and red Litespan. The prop is the standard 10x4.7" that comes with the Litestick kit. Span comes in at 35" and it's about 28" long and the weight came in at 6.5 - 7.2 ozs depending on the battery pack (6x120 or 8x120 mAh).

It's an excellent flyer with great presence in the air. Roll and pitch harmony is excellent at all speeds and pitch angles. The first flight was anticlimactic as it took off and landed like it had done it before. It flies great and will loop from level flight with 8 cells and it will do them in less than a 4 foot radius.

Overall an excellent air vehicle! Now what??
