Other People's LiteSTICKs - Ed Couch's Canard Cub

Here are some shots of the Cub Canard. The fuselage is stock length.

A couple of .09" carbon rods about 3" long are used as the canard standoff. Fuel tubing, or better yet, the white plastic pieces that come with the kit (the same shape as the wheel collars just bigger) can be used to hold the canard in position at about a 4 or 5 degree leading-edge-high pitch angle. I use 1/2A fuel tubing to hold the canard down, just slip a small piece on the top of rod and push down.

The rudder servo is simply glued to the stick and a pushrod is made from the parts provided in the kit. The landing gear is a stock wing hold down that has had everything removed except for the slot that the gear slips into.

Have fun,
Ed Couch
