Other People's LiteSTICKs
Brian Chan

(This is a picture of the stock LiteSTICK - not Brian's)

This is Brian's neat solution for attaching other props to the LiteStick motor - he machined his own adaptor !!

It's shown here with an APC prop installed, but the same basic design can be adapted to fit any other similar prop.

He made the adapter so he could test other props on the same motor and see how they perform. He writes that:

On static test, they both pull just about the same current 1.8A @ 7 VDC. I have a problem balancing the GWS prop(the prop holder shaft on the hi-point is too big to go through the GWS prop) and I can balance the APC. On those little planes, a balanced prop is a must. 1/2 sq in of scotch tape on the tip of one blade makes it from a vibrator to a smooth runner. Also the GWS prop is much softer in torsional rigidity, may be that is good for hard landings(read: crashes).
