Todd Long of Todd's Models received one of 4 Beta-Version Test Blimps. His "mission" was to try it out and send back comments about the building and flying. This is what he wrote:
It's a blast .... should be a winner.

From message he posted to the SFRC list:
Just a note to tell everyone that I got the test blimp a couple of weeks ago and have had it flying and it's been a blast.
The blimp has no problem flying around the house with figure 8's in the living room and climbing up and down the stairs. Touch and go's off the sofa are fun too. Motor run times are over an hour per charge. In less than two weeks I have put about 8 hours in flying. Don't tell anyone but the TX has even been seen in my wife's hands....!!!
So if you are looking for something to fly around in the house give one a try.
Try a blimp, more fun than I thought it would be....!!!

This is from somebody who flew an MB-1 at a show:
Sunday afternoon found me next to your booth and the next thing I knew I was handed a transmitter. Must say got a big kick out of flying one of your blimps. I'm into sport flying some 8 or more years and describe myself as a hard core flyer but the transition to your blimp took just a few moments and was exciting. Thanks for the treat, a pleasure for sure!

Ed Couch of Dallas, Tx reports:... total construction time was about 3 hours and I was slow.
Jessica Page - 14 years old (and dad Rick) built one with the built-up wings. The current version with foam wings is even easier to build.
Jess has completed all the building. She had a couple of glitches from lack of experience, but she figured it all out on her own.
