a Kyosho Endoplasma motor ($25) with a 4.5:1 gear box,
swings a 12X8 on 10 cells and it weighs 3.5 lbs.

| Art Valand's Bleriot II Biplane has about 1000 sq" of
area and weighs 9 ozs. It's powered by a GWS DX-F motor
swinging a 14x7 prop, is fed by an 8x270mAh pack and
it gets ~15 minutes flight time. It flies at ~5mph and
uses a pull-pull control system.

| Dave Baron's (Ct) B-17 (built by Joe Beshar) with 4
Astro geared 05's on 36 cells. Dave took possession of the
aircraft at the last KRC and has since installed retracts
in the model which now weighs 20 lbs and flies very
realistically.

David Theunissen came all the way from England (fortunately
arriving in the States before the WTC attacks shut down all air
travel). He brought with him an all-foam (DERPRON) aerobatic
slow flyer in a suitcase. Tom Hunt (CD) let David borrow a
72MHz Rx and Tx for it as they fly on 35MHz "across the pond".
The plane attracted a lot of attention and on the left you see
Bob Kopski interviewing David about his plane.
